Rakuy? Meishosh?

Rakuy? Meishosh? is Kyoto’s guidebook, and it was published on August of Manji 1 (A.D. 1658). It, together with Ky?warabe published in the July, is a memorial which shows the birth of Kyoto’s guidebook. The author Yamamoto Taijun was a scholar of the Chinese classics, and his father Y?ga was a famous court painter.
